Medal Design:
Bronze/silver-tone cross featuring a laurel wreath with an upright sword in the center.
Obverse inscribed with the Spartan motto: "Η ΤΑΝ Η ΕΠΙ ΤΑΣ" (“With it or on it”).
Reverse inscribed: ΕΛΛΑΣ 1916–1917 (Greece 1916–1917), commemorating Greek service in World War I.

With ribbon: mounted on black ribbon with blue edges.
Dimensions: 47.34 x 43.27 mm
Without ribbon: featuring suspension loop.
